Rescuing George from San Pedro Ambergris Caye
This is me, Cherie, after we caught the infamous George, a wild American Crocodile, who was being fed frozen chickens daily as a tourist attraction. Not only is this practice illegal in Belize, but the poor diet nearly killed George. He is now residing at ACES. He has shed some pounds and now acts like a healthy wild crocdile. George's alternative was to be shot before he eventually harmed someone.
