Responsible for all vessel operations, navigation as well as loading and discharging he spent most of his time on the bridge at sea and on deck in the ports. In the Honduras, Guatemala and Belize years of operation during the 90's he stayed on board from Puerto Cortez, Sto.Tomas and Big Creek and when the loading of the bananas was finished returned from Big Creek by air to the US home base.
